Frozen Wonderland: Tershishner Canyon with Brett Pawlyk
Join Brett Pawlyk, co-author of the Nordegg In Winter hiking guidebook, on a journey through little-known Tershishner Canyon and experience a wildly beautiful area that few have seen.
Located near Abraham Lake, we follow a frozen creekbed up the canyon passing by multiple layers of colourful rock and shales, icefalls and snowy scenery. If you like adventure, exploring off the beaten path and a little challenge, be sure to join us on this one-of-a-kind tour!

Itinerary
- You'll meet your guide at the Nordegg Canteen at 9 am for this tour.
- This is a challenging 4 km winter hike.
- Warm winter clothes (snow pants, jacket, gloves and winter boots are required).
- Ice cleats are provided.
